Mix flour together and stir in salt, sugar and baking powder. Mix honey and milk completely; add butter to this mixture (This works best if the liquids are heated). Add liquid mixture to the flour and knead a few minutes; dough should be sticky. Cut into four portions; roll out (you can also flour your hands and pat out the portions by hand) and score (Dip a table knife lightly in flour and make a cross in the center of the bread, almost to the edges and not cutting through the entire thickness.) (Dough should have cookie dough consistency. Add more flour as needed.) Place bread on greased baking sheet, sprinkle lightly with flour and coat thinly with oil. Bake at 350° Degrees for 15-20 minutes. Cool on wire rack.

FROM THE COUNCIL PRESIDENT
By the time you read this, we will have celebrated the birth of Jesus and are beginning the twelve days of Christmas. I pray that this year will be one filled with Peace, Joy, and Love.
To keep you up to date, here is the news:
The Chili Cookoff netted $224 and the bake sale $63. The Christmas CDs are available for $15 per set and 60 have been sold. Thrivent will be asked for matching funds for these two fund raisers.
An anonymous "angel" has given $2000 to Atonement to be used for the heating bill. The low temperatures this week make this a gift given at just the right time. Thank you!!
The Congregation Mission Profile was received by the Synod office and the Council and Call Committee met with Michael Rehak to discuss calling a minister. The Call Committee is continuing with the process.
Lloyd Jero will be contacting people to run for the council--there are 6 terms that will end (4 three-year terms and 2 two-year). Some of the present council members will run again, but
