The committee has interviewed a candidate recommended by Bishop Carlson and will now present her name to the council. Keep your ears open for any special congregational meetings that may result.

ATONEMENT LUTHERAN COUNCIL MINUTES December 13, 2004
PRESENT: Pastor Tina Koenig-Ray, Carole Doubleday, Judy Gundry, Bob Kristianson, Dixie Kalk, Les Nystrom, Nate Anderson, Lloyd Jero, Mary Wendtland, Dick Mitchell and Norbert Larson. Absent: Doris Marvin.
CALL TO ORDER by Carole Doubleday at 6:35 PM. No additions to the agenda. Devotions were led by Les Nystrom. GOOD NEWS: A baptism last Saturday and one more on this Sunday. ACP meeting at OLA on Sunday went quite well. Our Christmas tree looks wonderful as usual. Sales of the Christmas CD's are off to a great start. Chili-Cook-Off was a lot of fun.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: After a correction to the minutes, Nate Anderson made a motion that the minutes of the Nov. 8th meeting be accepted. Seconded by Lloyd Jero. MOTION PASSED.
OLD BUSINESS: Hands of Faith: Nate Anderson has volunteered to attend the next meeting of the Hands of Faith on January 6th at Our Lady of Assumption church. It would be great if we could have another volunteer attend this meeting with Nate. Stewardship: There are 49 pledges to date for a total of $77,395. Congregation Mission Profile Letter: The Call Committee sent a letter to Bishop Carlson stating their choice of Pastor Tina for consideration to accept the call as our minister. Church Council: Dixie Kalk submitted her resignation from the church council. Lloyd Jero made a motion to accept Dixie's resignation and was seconded by Dick Mitchell. MOTION PASSED. We will need 2 (maybe 3) new candidates to serve on the council. Lloyd Jero will head the
