Change is everywhere--sometimes it comes quickly and at other times slowly.  The Council is working on some changes for Atonement.

As part of the reorganization of the Council, the committees will see some new faces.  Some of these people are already beginning to work--please welcome these individuals to the group.  Other committees are still being reorganized.  Please say "yes" if you are asked to serve your church family.  A "Time and Talent" survey will be taken so that you will be able to add to Atonement's ministry.  New faces and new ideas, add new energy--this is an exciting change.

The Council will begin work on an Operations Manual which will outline the policies and procedures Atonement follows.  This will bring all of these policies together in one place instead of having them here, there, and everywhere.  In most instances, the procedures will not change but will be updated; some new policies will be added.  This change will help us to be organized and lessen confusion over how "things" should be done.

The Purchase Order Request forms will be available soon--Pattye will have them in the office.  When items need to be purchased, fill out a request and put it in my mailbox in the office.  The forms are simple to follow.  Be sure to plan ahead since requests must be approved by the council before items are purchased.  This change will help us track our expenses so that we can stay within the budget that the congregation approved.

Even though there is still some snow on the ground, Spring is almost here--a time for renewal and change.  Won't you be part of the change at Atonement?
