ATONEMENT  LUTHERAN CHURCH

CALL TO ORDER by Bruce Johnson at 6:35, devotions were led by  Bruce.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: A motion was made by Bob K. to approve meeting minutes from July, Dick M. made a second motion, vote taken
MOTION PASSED.

GOOD NEWS: National Night Out.  The Snappers game was a fun evening .

NEW BUSINESS:  Picnic at riverside Harry C Moore Pavilion September.
Lutheran World Relief…Atonement is responsible for getting things to Monroe this year. They are hoping for fabric, buttons, thread and needles among other things this year.  It will be shipped the first part of October.

OLD BUSINESS: 

CHURCH CALENDAR:  Hands of Faith
                                            YAG starts again August 28 with the return of
                                            Beloit College students.
                                            Rally Day  September 11
                                            Brotherhood the 3^rd Mon in September

COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Inreach…..Snappers Ballgame
Property committee:  They have been doing the routine chores while Ray is on vacation.  Nate made a motion to accept the committee reports… Don made a second motion. Vote taken MOTION PASSED.

FINANCIAL REPORT: Motion made by Nate to accept report and to check on the item listed as advertisement cost. Don made a second motion. Vote taken, MOTION PASSED.

PURCHASE ORDERS:  Patty has a request for funeral bulletins.  Bruce made a motion  to order 400, Judy made a second motion.  Vote taken, MOTION PASSED
