The meeting was brought to order by Carole Doubleday at 6:40 p.m.
Devotions were led by Carole.

GOOD NEWS:  Pastor Tina went home early and is doing well.  Sunday Sept 11 supply pastor was wonderful and will be here again on the 25^th of September .

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:  Nate Anderson made a motion to accept the minutes from the August 8, 2005 meeting. Richard Mitchell seconded the motion, vote taken MOTION PASSED.

OLD BUSINESS:  Pattye took one day of vacation.  Janice Adney took care of the phones etc. the day she was gone.  Ray has taken some vacation and the property committee filled in for him. 

NEW BUSINESS:  The boy scout troop led by Don Reedy and Dave Luety is looking for a new home.  They meet on Monday nights, and would like to know if it would be possible to meet at Atonement .  They would also need to store some equipment.

Book Bags for Lutheran World Relief :  25 are sealed and ready to go now, there should be 3 doz. total when all done.  There will be a Christopherson Moving truck  here at Atonement on October 12, 2005 from 11:oo a.m. to 1:00p.m.  Our thanks to Christopherson for donating their equipment and time.  THANK YOU Char for organizing, sewing packing etc.

We still have an open bank account for the ABONK group, we are looking for new signers on the account.  Maggie Janke volunteered to take on this responsibility, with the help of somebody else.

Professional Leadership Conference 9-26 through 9-28, 2005 if council members are interested in attending, talk with Carole.

Church Picnic October 2^nd or October 9^th in So. Beloit after church service.  Everyone  would need to bring a dish to pass.

COMMITTEES: Bob Kristianson made a motion to accept the property committee report.  Don Reedy seconded the motion, vote taken, MOTION PASSED
Inreach:  Bob is visiting every other month.

FINANCIAL REPORT:  Nate Anderson made a motion to accept the August 2005 report.  Don Reedy seconded the motion, vote taken, MOTION PASSED.
