to special Advent events at your church or in your home. Welcoming others into your midst will prepare you to welcome Christ into your heart on Christmas.
P Stretch Out Your Hand
Respond to God's love this season by lending a helping hand to the poor, homeless, and hungry among you-by volunteering at a shelter or other charitable organization, or by sharing gifts of money, clothes, and food with those in need. Just as God gave us his Son, so we should give of ourselves.
P Wind Down With Prayer
With all the hustle and bustle of this time of year, it is important to set aside time at the end of the day to slow down, take a breath, and fold your hands in prayer. Communicating with Christ in this way allows all the day's worries and fears to be covered over by the comfort and peace he gives.
