President Johnson called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m. Char moved to approved the agenda, Bob Kristianson seconded. Cheryl read the devotions.

New Business: (REVISED)

After discussion, C. Affeldt moved that a policy be developed for employees concerning payment for personal leave, sick leave, bereavement leave and holidays. Gene Sanda moved to accept the revised Council Meeting Minutes and Cheryl Ramczyk seconded.

Annual Budget Meeting November 12, 2007.

Bob Kristianson made a motion to contact the Red Cross to make our church an emergency shelter. Gene Sanda seconded. Council passed with a vote.

Information handed to Rolly Affeldt for fire inspection.

Refer Lutheran World Relief to the Sisterhood

Financial Report: Don Reedy moved to accept financial report. David Schneider seconded.

Old Business: Employee personal leave and sick leave policy to be discussed and written up-tabled until next month.

Pastor’s Report: Transfer for David & Deena Laird. Char Affeldt made the motion to accept the transfer of David & Deena Laird and Gene Sanda seconded. Bob Kristianson moved to accept the Pastor’s report and Cheryl seconded.
