"Cirano is my first Airedale. I can't imagine my life without this silly dog. I find him to be one of the smartest dogs I have ever owned. The silliest, and most loyal dog. I don't go anywhere without taking him with me.
Airedale's are to have dignified aloofness about them. Right now as a puppy I haven't seen that side yet. Instead he is just a "Big Ol' Clown" and makes me laugh all day long. I am sure by some of the pictures I have taken in the few months I have had him, you will see that he is a VERY silly boy!!

"Susie" is Cirano's sister who we are very proud of. For 2001 she was the #1 Airedale in the U.S. Susie is handled by George Ward who does a wonderful job grooming her and presenting her in the show ring.
She is just a couple of Best in Shows shy of setting the all time Bitch record and if I recall right, 4 Best's away from beating the all time Airedale record.

Here in this picture is handler "Ross Knutson". Ross is known for handling dogs in the Terrier group.
With his help, I am learning how to strip an Airedale's coat. I never dreamt when I brought Cirano home the amount of work that goes into caring for a "broken coated" breed.
He also has been a big help in showing me the right way that I am to present Cirano in the Terrier ring. Because I raise Yorkies and Maltese, I was training my silly boy to be a Giant Yorkie!!
Here Ross is with Ch Winderie Northern Jet Stream "Chuck". Chuck was in the top 10 for Irish Terriers for 2001.

Here
in this fun picture is Cirano's breeder, "Anne Schmitt". Anne is
on the left. She may holler at me for sharing this picture with
everyone, but her Susie had just earned another Best In Show this weekend
in Michigan.
